Sitting up

Gwen has sat up all by herself!  Yay for milestones!!!!!

6 months old

Gwen is very talkative and playful.  She is sitting up unassisted now.  She is also trying to crawl.

Gwen was baptized today.  She was great during the service.  She was very talkative and very eager to meet her new church family!  We chose Katie and Brett as her Godparents.  Stephanie H.R came out to support her as well.

Gwen met Santa today.  She was not impressed and was ready to do something else.  :)

 

5 months old

Gwen is very vocal.  She loves talking and yelling and babbling.  She has been in her crib for a few weeks and is doing great!  She is constantly rolling, and rolls all over the blankets on the floor.  She loves being on her belly.  She is such a playful baby!  She wants to play with her feet, and bat at any toy that is close to her.  She also focuses on whatever we're holding, and wants to play with that too.  

Gwen's First Halloween!

Little Gwen got to be Lambie from the show Doc McStuffins.  She complemented Natalia's costume, and big sister was very excited to have a cute baby costume to play with.  We went trick or treating with big sister, and Gwen fell asleep.  =)

 

First night in her crib

Gwen went to sleep in her crib in her room for the first time last night.  She did great and stayed in her crib for 12 hours!

Gwen tried Oatmeal tonight!  She loved it.  =)

4 months old

Gwen loves to giggle.  She has rolls on the kick and play piano mat.  She likes scooting around in her bassinet as well.  She enjoys yelling for your attention and is very ticklish.  Her new favorite toy is her feet.  

3 months old

Gwen loves to be sitting up and looking around.  She has started yelling for your attention.  She loves her big sister so much!  She loves to smile and giggle.  

 

First giggle

Gwen giggled for the first time today.  We were at Chrissy's house and on a playdate with Claire and Owen.  She was flirting with Owen and he made her giggle!

2 months old

2 months!!

Gwen loves her activity mat and tummy time.  She is a big flirt and loves to smile.  She is sleeping longer stretches at night and has started finding her voice.

Playdate fun

Gwen has her first baby friend.  Baby Connor is exactly 4 weeks older than she is, and is also Audrey's baby brother.  Audrey is Natalia's BFF.  We had a playdate with them yesterday and were able to get the cutest pictures of the two sweet babies!

 

1 month old

This month flew by!  Gwen gives a 4-6 hour stretch and than will sleep another 2-3 hours.  So we have two wakeups.  She loves tummy time and loves to look around when you're holding her.  She has started cooing and will smile as well.  She makes the funniest faces when she sleeps!  She also toots like a champ.  ;-)

 

First day solo!

After having Mom stay for two weeks and Matt help out last week, I had my first day at home with both girls.  It went better than expected and we all survived!!

 

Father's Day

Matt got to enjoy his first Father's Day as a father of two.  We spoiled him rotten and he has his pictures updated in his DAD frame.  

 

Going home!

We didn't have to stay more than two days at the hospital.  I could not wait to bring Gwen home and settle into our new life.

Day 1 was super exciting!  Grammie and Natalia came to the hospital to meet baby Gwen.  We were so excited for them to meet!  Natalia wore her big sister shirt and could not wait to meet her new little sister.  She was also very happy to see mommy and daddy.  After she got to hold her and we visited with each other, we enjoyed a hospital lunch in the hallway.  

 

Peanut's Birthday!

Gwendolyn Ivy DeCubellis was born at 9:18 am on June 6, 2016.  She weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces and measured 19 inches long.  She is a teeny peanut and we were not expecting that!  She is adorable and we're excited to watch her grow.
